My experience

Background

I have a background in athletics and dance, and I previously raced Dragon Boats competitively, so during the summer, you can find me paddling my outrigger canoe on Georgian Bay, Ontario. In April and July, I teach Pilates and Yoga-based mobility to participants at Dragon Boat paddle camps in Florida and Nova Scotia. My studies encompass personal training, Yoga, Pilates, Fascial Stretch Therapy, and Life Stretch, and I am currently exploring the Postural Restoration Institute and Kinstretch. I consistently return to the belief that movement and breath are at the core of our physical being, and discovering new methods to nurture this core is essential for maintaining both mental and physical well-being. Teaching individuals how to connect with their bodies, particularly the spine, pelvis, and ribs, as well as their breath, is a gift I cherish, enabling them to fully engage in all aspects of life and enjoy their leisure time. I firmly believe that cultivating this awareness of the body enhances every endeavor while fostering compassion, confidence, mobility, and strength.
